Seasons | No matter where you find yourself, press into Jesus.
Seasons | No matter where you find yourself, press into Jesus!
Seasons. Spring, summer, fall, winter.
These are the four seasons we’re used to. Each season is different, bringing about different weather, activities, and holidays.
But what about the other seasons of life? These are seasons like singleness, engagement and marriage. Seasons like employed or unemployed; sick or healthy; Seasons of more and seasons of less. Seasons of stability (financially, mentally) and seasons of instability. There are so many seasons and I’ve only named a few. They all change. None of them remain constant forever. It may seem like they do, but in all reality there is a beginning and an end to every season.
I wanted to encourage someone today, whatever season you’ve found yourself in today, no matter how bad, know it won’t last forever. Most importantly know that God is found in every season and He is the one thing that will never change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever! (Hebrews 13:8)
I don’t know how you’re feeling right now in this current season but know that if you’re feeling weak, Gods power is made perfect in weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
If you’re feeling tired, take His yoke upon you. Allow him to walk along side you because his yoke is easy and his burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30)
Lean into him. Seek him first (Matthew 6:33) and he will lead you beside still waters. (Psalm 23:2)
If you’re feeling lost, know He will leave the 99 to find you. (Matthew 18:12-14)
If you are feeling anxious, lay your anxieties and worries down at His feet. (1 Peter 5:7) Give them to him and trust that he is working in and through all things because he cares for you.
If you’re confused, know that he is the prince of peace and that peace is a gift that is freely given. (1 Corinthians 14:33) (Isaiah 9:6)
If you are feeling broken-hearted, know that He is close to you. (Psalm 34:18)
No matter what you’re feeling and no matter the season you’re in, press into Jesus. Don’t let the word of God become a stranger or a foreign language to you.
